The Transformation

The air conditioning units were recently installed. It is our desire to provide a pleasant, controlled environment in which to present the gospel. As the bus will be used in both the north and the south, these units are equiped to both heat and cool the bus.

The generator is now installed and ready to produce power! It will be used to run the A/C units and the various other electrical systems on the bus. |

Much of the wiring has been completed. The main breaker box is install above the driver's seat with outlet, lights,video, and speaker wiring placed strategically throughout the bus. |

This Video Bus was used to reach thousands of people in Florida with the Gospel during its day. Tim Tutton used this bus regularly for many years and saw its usefulness as an evangelistic tool. Mr. Tutton now has a vision to create a similar bus to give churches throughout the West a fresh, new approach to reaching their communities for Christ.

Baptist Youth Mission was donated a bus from Faith Baptist Church, in Champaign, Illinois. This bus was dedicated to become the future Video Bus for BYM. We are excited to watch the transformation currently underway. We prayerful look forward to the many lives changed within the walls of this vehicle. |

Recently, the bus was fitted for the generator required to run the air conditioners and electrical equipment. After installing the generator box at BYM’s headquarters in Sinclair, Wyoming, we moved the bus to the Denver area for the installation of the generator, A/C units, and much of the electrical work. |
|
|
|
|
|
One of the first steps in the conversion of the bus was to remove all of the seats. The bus will be redesigned to seat the children on benches along the walls. During the program, the children will be able to see both the preacher at the front of the bus and the video monitors.
|
|
|
|
As you can see, much work is still to be done. By the completion of the transformation, the bus will have an entirely new look, both inside and out. There is still a great need for support to complete this project. Please prayerfully consider what you can do to help get this bus complete and on its way to change the lives of young people throughout our nation. |
