Relationship:
We propose to assist Acme Baptist Church and their camp in the following ways. We believe that this camp is the ministry of the local church. We believe that that pastor and his staff have the best knowledge and ability to respond to the campers needs. We believe that we are assistants to help the local church do its job. BYM will supply manpower, programing, equipment and expertise in the areas requested by the local church.
Management Style:
The camps will be managed by Baptist Youth Mission staff in the same manner as we have done them in the past.
Teams: We will be responsible for dividing the camps into teams for competition purposes. We will request the input of the pastors and counselors for this task.
Competition: We will use competition throughout the week for motivation during the services, tepee cleanup, meals etc...
Schedule: BYM will design and implement the full schedule from waking to lights out with the approval of the Acme cooks, trading post personnel and the Executive Director.
Content: Beyond the preaching, we will provide a strong emphasis on Bible memory, daily devotions, Christian character and counselor training.
Dates:
We will provide three workers consisting of a Director and two Assistant Directors for the following dates
Jr. Camp July 13-17, 1998
Teen Camp July 27-31, 1998
Missions Camp Aug. 10-14, 1998
Staff-
We will provide 3 staff people for each week of camp,
Director-The director will oversee all aspects of he camping program. He will be responsible for directing the chapel services, lead music, organize all skits, contests etc... He will be responsible for all games and activities throughout the day. He will oversee the counselors and provide them with all training. He will oversee and maintain the schedule and all on site activities.
We will be responsible for the scheduling of raft trips, horseback riding, and site seeing tour but will not be responsible for transportation to these events.
The director with the rest of the entire staff will be responsible for the choosing of the campers of the week and all rewards. The rewards will be provide by Acme.
Acme will provide housing for all BYM staff and families.
Finances:
All BYM staff and families involved in each week's management will be exempt from camper fees for the weeks of our service.
We will only charge our per/head fees for the official campers of that week. All counselors and staff are exempt from the following numbers. Acme can charge them and their families whatever they feel is appropriate.
We propose for a management fee of 20.00/per head for each official camper up to 20 campers. $25 per head for all campers if the enrollment falls between 21 and 40. The fee rises to $30 for each camper if the enrollment is over 40 campers. The fees would include all handbooks, binders, bandanas, props, etc... for each camp. All printing, and assembly would be provided by BYM. Any items such as safety information, Acme promotion, speaker outlines, etc... that needs to be in the campers handbooks would need to be given to BYM in computer text files by June 1, 1998.
These numbers are based on 125.00 per head camper fee per camper. Any discounts given by Acme will not affect our per head management fees.
The numbers below are only accurate at consistent camper fees.

We will not be involved in any paper work such as applications, money gathering etc... We will of course, fill out all necessary paper work for our immediate staff and families. We will of course handle all paperwork throughout the week necessary for our compliance with state regulations.
Our families may or may not be involved as counselors, cooks, etc....

We have worked together successfully in the past, perhaps we can continue to do so in the future.
